The Police Record's Unit does not fax or email copies of any police reports, including Accident Reports. There is a 10 cent charge for copies of each page of reports.
An authorized person may obtain a copy of their report from the Richmond Police Department - Police Records Unit by various methods: In person, Online and U.S. Mail.
You may obtain a copy of your reports (OPEN RECORDS REQUEST OR ACCIDENT REPORT) by visiting the Richmond Police Department (1721 Lexington Road) between the hours of 7 am - 5 pm. Monday through Friday (closed on Weekends and Holidays).
